Land in Leh and take your first breath of the pristine Himalayan air. Our team will transfer you to the hotel for an early check-in.
Enjoy a Welcome Lunch. Afterwards, it is absolutely crucial to take a mandatory 3-hour rest. Leh is at 3,500m, and your body needs time to adjust. Our Tour Manager will begin AMS (Acute Mountain Sickness) monitoring.
In the evening, attend a Welcome Briefing at 4 PM followed by an early buffet dinner and early sleep to prepare for the days ahead.
Begin your day with a photo stop at Leh Palace, a majestic 17th-century royal palace offering panoramic views of Leh town.
Visit Thiksey Monastery (the Mini-Potala), renowned for its grand architecture and giant Maitreya Buddha statue. Then explore the Shey Palace, housing a magnificent gilded Buddha.
Return to the hotel for a mandatory afternoon rest to continue acclimatizing.
In the evening, drive up to the Shanti Stupa for breathtaking sunset views over the Leh Valley before heading back for dinner.
A beautiful drive along the Sham Valley today. Visit the Hall of Fame, a tribute to the brave soldiers of the Indian Army showcasing Ladakh's military history.
Experience the fully flat and deeply spiritual Gurudwara Pathar Sahib. Enjoying the Army langar served here is a blessing seniors truly cherish.
Stop at the fascinating Magnetic Hill to witness the optical illusion where vehicles appear to roll uphill.
Reach the spectacular Indus-Zanskar Sangam to see the confluence of the emerald rivers. Return to Leh for the evening.
Today, we embark on the legendary drive crossing Khardung La Pass — one of the world's highest motorable mountain passes at 5,359 m (17,582 ft) offering spectacular views of the Ladakh and Karakoram ranges.
Descend into the beautiful Nubra Valley. Visit the Diskit Monastery, the valley's oldest monastery.
Right next to it, gaze up at the towering 106-foot Maitreya Buddha statue, known as the "Future Buddha", overlooking the Shyok River. Proceed to your hotel for dinner and rest.
A relaxed morning. We head out to explore the Hunder Sand Dunes, a unique high-altitude cold desert where golden sands meet snow-capped mountains.
Enjoy a memorable, gentle, and assisted ride on the rare double-humped Bactrian camels (included complimentary).
Visit the peaceful Hunder Gompa, offering serene ambiance and panoramic valley views.
Spend the rest of the day strolling through the charming Diskit Markets, shopping for local handicrafts and apricots before returning to your hotel.
Drive from Nubra to Pangong via the rugged and breathtaking Shyok River route.
Arrive at Pangong Tso (4,225 m), the most photographed lake in Asia. Stretching across India and Tibet, the lake mesmerizes by changing colors with the sunlight.
Take a memorable photo at the famous 3 Idiots Point and enjoy a gentle, flat lakeside walk during sunset.
Retire to your solid cottages (no tents) overlooking the lake.
We drive back to Leh crossing the majestic Chang La Pass (5,360 m), our second high pass of the trip. Stop for a quick 10-minute photo op.
Visit Hemis Monastery, Ladakh's largest and wealthiest monastery, celebrated for its vibrant culture.
Stop by the famous Rancho's School (Druk Padma Karpo School) from the film "3 Idiots" for a great photo moment.
Spend the late afternoon shopping at Leh Bazaar for Pashmina shawls, dried apricots, and Tibetan crafts.
Tonight, we celebrate with a Farewell Dinner and an exclusive Ladakhi cultural performance to conclude our memorable journey.
After breakfast, check out from the hotel and transfer to Kushok Bakula Rimpochee Airport in Leh.
